The Act of Righteousness

Mathew 6:1

"Be careful not to do your 'act of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven"

     The act of righteousness focuses on our action being judge by those people around us. Let this act of righteousness be not seen of the men. Simply means that those action which should be judge by man must not be recognized by man. The reason why this act should not be recognized by man is because of the rewards that would be coming from our Father in heaven. Our Father in heaven will be giving reward in every good deed that we are going to do. This verse reminds us that we should not be doing the act of righteousness being seen by man for this act will not receive the rewards that would be coming from our Father in heaven.(for they have already received their reward, Mt.6:2) We have a simple rule: Men will be doing good to be recognize but the one that  God would reward are those good deeds that will be donnot to be recognized but has a heart to do. As proverbs 21:2 says "All mans way seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart" We must always look into our heart if we want to do good deeds. What is the purpose of you good deeds, Is it for the benefits of your own good or for the benefits of others? Let us always set our hearts that we are doing things for their own sake and not for our own good.

The Structure of a Family

Proverb 1:8
"My son, hear the instruction of your father and forsake not the law of your mother"

Message
My son = This words are signal of attention, God is calling our attention to listen to Him. It also recognized us of who we are, we are His son as he lives as our father.

Hear the instruction your father = on this verse, the task of the father is to give instruction, to lead his son to what is about to do and how to do it. In reality, our biological father is in charge of providing the direction in our life(in a case we don't know the direction). God is asking us to hear the instruction of our father for they will serve as our direction, our path to where we are going.

Forsake not the law of your mother = the task of the mother is to give the do's and don't's of our life. they are in charge of correcting us in case of something wrong is in our life. The mother is putting the boundaries in our life. to support the instructions of the father.

The father is looking forward (what is your direction) and the mother is looking at the present (what is wrong and what is right at the moment) the two works together to build you up to become the person that God want to be.

This is the structure of the family that sets upon us.

Instruction
To the son: Listen your parents
To the father: Guide your son by giving instruction
To the mother: Warn your son by reminding of the law and its consequences

Application
As a son, I am expecting instructions from my father and law from my mother, but I don't have a father anymore, So right now, I am relying on my spiritual father who gives instruction in my life. The law of my mother: this is something that I should be aware of. she should be reminding me of the consequences of the things that I am doing.

Prayer
Our God in heaven thank you for the learning that you are teaching me right now, I know you want to listen to my spiritual father and obey the law of my mother. i'm lifting up all my thanksgiving for this words that you have given me. I pray that you may continually open my eyes in recognizing the instructions and law that I am about to receive from my spiritual father and biological mother. I asked this in the name of Jesus. Amen

Acquiring wisdom - the ability to know how

Proverb 1 :7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline

Message
Paano mo malalaman ang tama at ang mali, ang dapat gawin at hindi dapat gawin? Simulan mo ito sa fear of the Lord. Magkaoon ka ng takot sa Diyos at malalaman mo kung ano ang ayon sa gusto nya at ayaw nya.  Sikapin mo na kilalanin na ang Diyos na iyong kinikilala: Siya ay perfect and holy. Perfect Sya at lahat ng ginagawa niya ay tama. Holy ang Diyos, pagsinabi kong Holy seperated from sin, Kung ang God na kilala mo ay perfect and holy, fear God, dahil hindi tayo perfect at makasalanan tayo. we are seperated from him, fear that we may not again sin and aim to be perfect.

foolish people despise wisdom and discipline
Makakatanggap tayo sa Diyos kung paano mo gagawin ang isang bagay ngunit ang may mga tao na aayawan ito. ayaw nila na pinapagalitan tayo. Kapag tayo ay pinapagalitan, ibig sabihin may itinatama sa atin. may mali tayo at ang tao na yon ay nanagtatama sa atin ay ginagamit ng Diyos upang ang buhay natin ay maging kalugod-lugod sa diyos.

Application
Mula ngayon ay idinideklara ko na bawal magkamali, bawal magkasala, Dahil hindi ito ang kaloob sa atin God. Nais ng God na gawin natin ang naaayon o kalugod lugod sa kanya. Halimbawa: ang pagpasok sa tamang oras, paggawa ng naaayon sa ating trabaho, dapat ginagawa ito ng tama at hindi gumagawa ng dahilan para makaiwas sa trabaho. pagsusulat ng devotion araw araw, pag darasal sa bawat oras, upang magawa ito, ipagdasal natin lagi ang ating mga ginagawa araw araw, then we will be spending our time in prayer. pagwa ng mabuit kung may pagkakataon na inaalok sa atin, minsan kasi iniiwasan natin ito. ang pagiging mabuti sa kapwa, hindi dapat masungit,

Prayer
Lord maraming salamat sa pagbibigay ng direkyon sa buhay ko. Sa pagpapakita sa akin kung ano ang dapat kong gawin. tunay nga Panginoon ang taong sumusunod sayo ay may takot na magkamali, sa takot na ito nalalaman ko ang dapat kong gawin. Sa mga pagkakataon na umiiwas kami sa displina, patawad Panginoon, nawa'y bigyan nyo po ako ng lakas na harapin lahat ng aking pagkakamali at tunay nga po na mapagtangumpayan ko ito. Lahat ng ito ay idinadalangi ko sa pangalan ni Jesus. Amen

Solomon writes his own proverbs. He based his proverbs on his relationship with God. His relationship with God guides him on his beliefs and actions. A connection with God must take place in order for us to have a proverb which is according to God's will and God's heart. In this so called proverb experience, God, our father in heaven must be our God. Revealing, teaching, and guiding us to experience him throughout and the rest of our life.

Prayer
Above all, you are God. You keep on making connections to us everyday, through joy and pain, sufferings and successes that we have everyday.
